Thursday, July 12th, 2007

Gina Nigrelli is living my dream life. After a successful career in fashion and marketing, she relocated to the Virgin Islands in 2005 and together with her husband, Brian Smith, began a life of creative jewelery design. Inspired by the lush Caribbean surroundings, Jules Smith Designs employ precious metals and semi-precious gemstones, creating wearable art that is subtly extravagant. This is the Now and Zen ring, featuring an 18k yellow gold open …

Now, if you have the money, it can be yours. Bochic will be donating the jewelry she wore to USA for UNHCR in support of World Refugee Day, which is on June 20th. Jolie has served as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees – UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. The pieces will be auctioned by charityfolks.com and all proceeds will go to UNHCR programs in Chad for refugees from the Darfur region.

Carbon De Luxe, Diamonds For The Body

Thursday, July 12th, 2007

Body jewelry goes deluxe in the hands of design company Carbon De Luxe (the website is a little NSFW). The Virgin Collection features pieces that can be worn as traditional jewelry during the day and then used at night for more risque purposes. This piece, called the Gorm, can be worn as a brooch but is also meant to be worn through a man’s nipple …
