This week on Monday the world’s leading fragrance company, Coty Inc., announced that they’ve agreed to create a new innovative fragrance line for men under the Tonino Lamborghini brand name. Coty plans to play off the brand’s “sexy, sleek, and exclusive” appeal to create something “explosive” in men’s fragrance. Expect to see the resulting Tonino Lamborghini fragrance in Europe and Asia in the spring of 2008, and in the U.S. and around the world sometime after that.

Catherine Zeta-Jones has gorgeous hair and now we know the reason why. The Daily Mail reveals that she goes to Hari’s salon in South Kensington to indulge in a unique treatment. She undergoes a treatment that costs £200 and involves washing her hair with a truffle-based shampoo. Her hair is then smeared with beluga caviar flown in fresh from Iran. The fatty acids in the fish eggs are said to give her hair its famed shine.

DeBeers Enters The World of E-Commerce

Last week we mentioned the expansion of Blue Nile’s diamonds for sale online, now the diamond behemoth DeBeers is finally joining the internet jewelry business. WWD reports that DeBeers is launching e-commerce on their website. The company will let you spend up to $30,000 for a diamond engagement ring (1.5 carat center stone with two side stones) so far, with plans to let people spend more in the future. Phoenix Roze Enamel Hearts

Are these adorable or what? These brightly colored enamel hearts are sterling silver and adorned with semiprecious stones. They are part of the new collection from Phoenix Roze, a small jewelry store in Manhattan. Designer Guy Rozenstrich is a second generation jewelry maker and he makes each piece by hand. He also does custom made pieces and more elaborate and pricey confections such as strands involving rose cut diamonds or yellow sapphires and fire opals. The breezy little hearts sell for $325.
