Acqua di Parma Colonia Edizione Murano

Colonia was the name of the first scent put out by Acqua di Parma when it opened its first perfumery in Italy in 1916. Originally marketed towards men, it was catapulted into the spotlight in the 1930’s and 1940’s by celebrities who adored it. This March, Acqua di Parma is relaunching the woodsy, citrusy scent as the limited edition Colonia Edizione Murano. The new release comes in a hand blown, art deco-style glass bottle, which is packed with a small funnel designed for decanting the perfume in a black velvet box lined with yellow silk. The bottle design was done in conjunction with artist Giorgio Vigna and only 1,1000 hand signed and numbered pieces will be made.
